Could the name of Jesus-“God with us”-represent God’s disposition in its entirety? Could it fully articulate God? If man says that God can only be called Jesus and may not have any other name because God cannot change His disposition, these words are blasphemy indeed! What amazes me is that people want to hold onto that one verse. However, the fail to continue reading the book of John in it's entirety. Jesus never claims to be God. But the son of God. The theme of the bible is "God's sovereignty", in which the devil rebels against. In the beginning there was no need for a savoir. Not until Satan rebelled. Then God and his son came up with a solution. Since no one can see god and live, Jesus volunteers to do the job. Due to the fact angels can materialize into flesh. My point is, there are so many books that talk about the coming messiah. Moses wanted to see god, right? However, god told him no flesh can see me.
